The Legacy Reentry Foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals as they transition back into society after incarceration. We provide resources and guidance to help them navigate the challenges of reentry, fostering self-sufficiency and reducing recidivism. Our programs focus on job training, housing assistance, and mental health support to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and contribute positively to their communities.
Our Mission
The Legacy Reentry Foundation's mission is to empower formerly incarcerated individuals and others facing barriers to reintegration by providing comprehensive support and resources. We strive to create a bridge between incarceration and community life, offering guidance and opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and successful reentry. Our ultimate goal is to reduce recidivism, promote self-sufficiency, and foster safer, more inclusive communities for everyone.

2024: A Year of Progress
Job Placement & Legal Support
We facilitated over 480 job fair interviews throughout the year, connecting individuals with potential employers and career opportunities. Additionally, we processed 292 expungements, helping individuals clear their records and overcome barriers to employment and housing. These services have been crucial in empowering individuals to regain their independence and become contributing members of society.
Community Outreach
Our Community Closet initiative saw tremendous success in 2024, collecting over 500 donations amounting to over 2,000 individual items of clothing and essential items. Through this program, we were able to serve over 400 individuals in need, providing them with the resources to maintain their dignity and stability as they reintegrate into the community. We also expanded our outreach efforts by partnering with local organizations to offer additional support services.

A New Generation of Leaders

L.A.M.P. Program
We launched our Leadership and Mentorship Program (L.A.M.P.) for youth aged 13-24, providing intensive services aimed at reducing violence and building leadership skills.
